Curt Golkow founded Golkow Business Law LLC after more than two decades practicing at major Philadelphia-based law firms. He has more than 30 years of experience in business, finance, and securities law, representing entrepreneurs, emerging companies, investors, lenders, and middle-market businesses.
His practice combines sophisticated transactional experience with the practical perspective of someone who works closely with business owners and management.
Curt founded Golkow Business Law to provide clients with the level of experience and sophistication available at a large firm while maintaining the accessibility and personal attention of a boutique practice.

Curt has served on the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Business Law Section and is a former Chair of its Mergers & Acquisitions Committee.
He has been a member of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section for decades, including committees addressing mergers and acquisitions, business finance, business divorce, corporate litigation, legal opinions, LLCs and partnerships, and middle-market and small-business matters.

Curt frequently speaks and teaches on business-law topics for lawyers, business professionals, and students. His presentations have included programs for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the American Bar Association, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Fox Business School at Temple University, and other organizations.
Recent and recurring topics have included buying and selling businesses, business divorce, restrictive covenants, business entities, contract drafting, M&A, venture capital financing, and entrepreneurship.
For several years, Curt has been a guest lecturer at the Wharton School on M&A and venture capital financing.
